The Official Imperial Anthem of the Holy
Empire of Reunion has been re-established in October, 1997, by Imperial Decree
0019-98. It is called "God bless His Imperial Majesty", and its lyrics
(right), in the Portuguese language, were composed by Mr. Pedro Aguiar (ex-Premier) in
1998. The Imperial Anthem uses the music from an arabian music, as a homage to viceroys
Aikid Otta and Akar-peh-tad-o, who were from the Middle East.

The religious song "Amazing
Grace" is considered a "secondary" National Anthem, in the Holy Empire.
Frequently, people sing it instead of "God Bless His Imperial Majesty".

Whenever there is a ceremony where the
Emperor is present, while He enters or leaves the Building, the classic piece
"Canon", by Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706), is played. In Reunion, the piece is
known as the "Imperial Hymn".
